So our church kids want to do a lock-in. This month. I'm glad they are taking the initiative and coming up with ideas, but I'm so nervous of the work that I am going to have to put in. Has anyone had experience with this? Any good ideas for me? I've seen
this website with a survivor theme. We are gearing the lock-in to 8th grade and up and I have no idea how many kids will come. Any advice, let me know!

Our LYF group always had lock-ins when I was in high school. We usually played some games, did a Bible Study or two, and watched movies.
Hey Becky!
We did LOTS of lock-ins when I was that age. We usually did it at the school and would have different classrooms house different activities. One classroom was for the boys and their junk, one for the girls. This was a place to put all their stuff and where one could go to sleep if they wanted to. In another classroom we had a movie always playing, in another was video games, another had board games, etc. We also had a floor hockey tournament, karaoke, etc in the commons area. We kept all the food in the kitchen and kids could graze all night. Hope this gives you a few ideas! mamie
